These posters explore the theme of “absence(s)” by examining the optical phenomenon of negative afterimages. This occurs when the viewer focuses on the central point and the circles are in motion, revealing pink circles where the green ones are absent. This is combined with a typeface created specifically for this project, illustrating absence. This font, “Garamond Absent”, is based on the famous typeface created by Claude Garamond and reworked by Georg Duffner and Octavio Pardo.
